You could adjust the lighting with a image editor if you are not happy about it...... assuming you have one..... Though now I am sharing your position as my scanner died, so I use a digital camera as a scanner... Still Ok.... Created the Reaper absol pic using it.... [link] if you havn't seen it.....

Nice job as usual.

Lol, he is supposed to be tan, but I ran out of that colour. I compromised by mixing gold and a bit of orange x3

Nice job.
Hmm, having lighting problem with the scanner? Why not try this, it's a trick I do, is by pulling some of the paper way form the edges, not covering all the glass.
Wait, is your scanner a flat scanner, the one where you put the paper in, close the lid and then scan?
